That’s a really quick way to break your bond with your cat.”

Es un tema que preocupa a las familias y las editoriales lo abordan aunque, en la mayoría de casos, el perfil del lector suele ser una madre primeriza. En su libro 39 semanas y mis experiencias como madre novata (Lunwerg, 2016), la ilustradora Esther Gili plasmó con toques de humor su primer embarazo y sus primeros meses como madre. Algo que, un año antes, también había hecho en sus viñetas la ilustradora argentina Agustina Guerrero, La Volátil, en su libro Mamma mia! (Lumen, 2015).
Las reglas o consejos que las madres primerizas debían seguir, y que recibían de sus familiares más directos o amigos con hijos, se desmontaban con estos textos en favor de una maternidad en la que no todo debe salir bien. “El modelo social de maternidad es tan irreal, tan serio y en formato reglas que reírnos posibilita que desmontemos esa irrealidad”, explica Jiménez. Y ese compartir con otras madres las vivencias del día a día, aunque sea a través de los libros, consigue que “transitemos las partes difíciles de manera más amable”, puntualiza la experta.

In EL PAÍS, in the article El cirujano general de Estados Unidos pide que se advierta en las botellas que el alcohol provoca cáncer, the author Miguel Jiménez writes:
El cirujano general de Estados Unidos, autoridad pública encargada de ofrecer a la ciudadanía la mejor información científica disponible sobre cómo mejorar la salud y reducir el riesgo de enfermedades y lesiones, ha lanzado este viernes una dura advertencia sobre el consumo de bebidas alcohólicas. En un informe de 22 páginas, Vivek Murthy subraya la certeza científica sobre la relación causal entre el consumo de alcohol y el aumento del riesgo de cáncer. El alcohol es la tercera causa prevenible de esta enfermedad en EE UU, y contribuye a unos 100.000 casos y 20.000 muertes por esta causa cada año. El cirujano general pide que se incluyan en las botellas y envases advertencias similares a las que se usan con el tabaco señalando que el alcohol provoca cáncer. Esa decisión, en todo caso, depende del Congreso.
