Dear Friend,

Do you remember what a “bullet” means in the copywriting world? Oh, you forgot again? I forgot too. No choice, let's review the definition together.

Bullet: A sentence in your sales letter which ignites readers' curiosity so badly that they drop what they are doing and start reading your sales letter immediately.”

Remember? Good. Let's move on to the today's topic.

How to Create Bullets from Your Products or Services
The Real Example #2
part 44

Compare the original texts and the bullets I created carefully and get “inspiration” to create your own bullets from your products or services. The material I use for this issue is:

Purr: The Science of Making your Cat Happy
by Zazie Todd

There are three reasons why I chose this book as the material.

Reason #1:

This is one of “solution-oriented” books. When you want to create books to sell, you have to choose this format too.

Reason #2:

Animal Welfare is a big market. If you want to create books to sell, you have to choose a big market too.

Reason #3:

I love cats.

And before I show you bullets... I want to emphasize just one thing.

The CEO of Kentaro Sono Inc. swears under oath that this newsletter is not one of the stupid stealth marketing, or written by the Artificial Intelligence such as ChatGPT!

GREYSTONE BOOKS don't pay me any money to write this issue. You got it? OK. Let's study the bullets together!

The Original Text #130:

Don’t declaw your cat. Where I live, this surgery is banned, but unfortunately in the United States it is still allowed, with the exception of New York State. At time of writing, both Florida and Arizona lawmakers are considering legislation to ban declawing, and two major veterinary chains (Banfield and VCA) as well as Fear Free–certified practices will no longer declaw cats. The word “declaw,” although commonly used, is a misnomer. The technical name is onychectomy, and it means amputating the knuckle along with severing the tendons, nerves, and ligaments. It is a painful procedure that takes the cat weeks to recover from and has long-term consequences. Without claws, the cat is no longer able to defend themselves; and after the amputation, cats may find using the litter box painful.

The Bullet #130:

The deceptive word “declawing” of cats! (Actually, it's proper and technically correct to call it “amputation”. The stupid surgery amputate the knuckle along with severing the tendons, nerves, and ligaments.)

The Original Text #131:

When declawed cats toileted outside the box, it was typically close to the litter box but on a soft surface such as carpet or fabric, which suggests they found touching and digging the cat litter painful. A vet exam also found signs of pain and that bone fragments were commonly left behind during the declawing procedure.

The Bullet #131:

The sad reason declawed cats toilet outside the litter boxes! (They can't toilet anymore without pain...)

The Original Text #132:

If your cat is fearful, don’t force them to face their fears. This practice, known as flooding, risks making things much worse and may cause a state of learned helplessness in which the cat is too afraid to really do anything.

The Bullet #132:

Why you can't trust a self-proclaimed “ expert of cats” who touch cats persistently despite of warnings from them... until they no longer resist!

In the next issue, I deliver How to Create Bullets from Your Products or Services The Real Example #2, part 44!

Sincerely,
Kentaro Sono

In Robb Report, in the article This New Car-Storage Space Is So Secure It Won’t Even Let Owners Inside, the author Ben Oliver writes:

Given that the value of a high-end collectible car—from a classic to a supercar—can easily exceed the average sale price of an Old Master painting, it’s surprising how many of these dream machines are still stored in insecure, climatically unsuitable places: domestic garages, old agricultural buildings, and even public car parks. British start-up Birch aims to change that.

Its founders are serious car collectors who struggled to find suitable accommodation for their valuable assets. But they also made their fortunes in insurance, and they saw not only that art-world standard storage would reduce owners’ premiums—often by more than the cost of the storage—but also that insurance providers will increasingly demand that collectors keep their cars in such facilities, as art insurers do.

The Bonus Bullet #1:

You can learn how to find the niche markets from the insurance expert ... who collects super cars! (The sources of new products or services are always unsatisfied customers.)

In Robb Report, in the article Why Your Next 5-Star Hotel Might Put You to Work, the author Noah Lederman writes:

It’s a phenomenon resorts are seeing around the world, ill-content to lie poolside, guests want to make giving back a part of their luxury vacation. But volunteering for a short period, in a foreign country, isn’t alway easy or straightforward. That’s way some hotels are working with local nonprofits.

The Bonus Bullet #2:

Now wealthy people... pay to work! (Do you think they want to behave like kings or queens and treat you like slaves? The situation is changing.)
