Dear Friend,

Do you remember what a “bullet” means in the copywriting world? Oh, you forgot again? I forgot too. No choice, let's review the definition together.

Bullet: A sentence in your sales letter which ignites readers' curiosity so badly that they drop what they are doing and start reading your sales letter immediately.”

Remember? Good. Let's move on to the today's topic.

How to Create Bullets from Your Products or Services
The Real Example #2
part 18

Compare the original texts and the bullets I created carefully and get “inspiration” to create your own bullets from your products or services. The material I use for this issue is:

Purr: The Science of Making your Cat Happy
by Zazie Todd

There are three reasons why I chose this book as the material.

Reason #1:

This is one of “solution-oriented” books. When you want to create books to sell, you have to choose this format too.

Reason #2:

Animal Welfare is a big market. If you want to create books to sell, you have to choose a big market too.

Reason #3:

I love cats.

And before I show you bullets... I want to emphasize just one thing.

The CEO of Kentaro Sono Inc. swears under oath that this newsletter is not one of the stupid stealth marketing, or written by the Artificial Intelligence such as ChatGPT!

GREYSTONE BOOKS don't pay me any money to write this issue. You got it? OK. Let's study the bullets together!

The Original Text #52:

IF YOU WANT to stop your cat from hunting but still want to give them outdoor access, there are a few things you can do (on top of continuing to feed your cat so they don’t have to hunt for food, of course). One is to attach a bell to your cat’s collar. The little jangling noise means the cat cannot creep up on prey unannounced. Another option is the CatBib, a shield of flexible neoprene that dangles down from the cat’s collar. Although the cat is still able to move around freely, including climb trees, the bib interferes with their ability to stalk precisely and pounce upon prey. When sixty-three cats in Australia wore either a CatBib or a CatBib plus bell for three weeks, they caught fewer birds and mammals compared with when they did not wear either.¹² An additional option is a circular collar cover called the Birdsbesafe, which is brightly colored and designed to be visible to prey that have good color vision, such as birds, reptiles, and amphibians, but not to prey that don’t, namely mammals such as mice.

The Bullet #52:

3 ways to let your cats go outside without sacrificing other small animals or insects!

(If you want your cats to enjoy running under the sun, but don' t want them to kill endangered species... read this part!)

The Original Text #53:

If you are keeping your cat indoors only, you have to expect to work harder as a cat guardian to ensure that their needs are met. Options include making time for play, providing an environment with elevated perches, ensuring windows are safely ajar or screened so cats can smell the outdoor air, providing a cat running wheel (and training your cat to use it) for exercise, training your cat to go on leash walks, and providing a safe catio for your cat.

The Bullet #53:

6 ways to make your cats happy who are not allowed to go outside!

(If you think keeping cats indoors is enough to make them happy... maybe you shouldn't have cats. What? Cage-only cats? Despicable.)

The Original Text #54:

Often our modern ways of living mean compromising on a cat’s natural behaviors. For example, keeping indoor cats without access to appropriate space or outlet for their instinctive need to hunt. One of the biggest causes of stress for cats results from the common misconception by humans that they need the ‘company’ of other cats. Cats are self-reliant and highly territorial. They have no biological requirement for companionship, especially from their own kind, as they are adapted to hunt and defend their territories alone. Consequently, the introduction of another cat into their territory can often be a highly stressful experience.

The Bullet #54:

The common misconception which causes the biggest stress of cats!

(Hint: Loneliness kill human-beings. But...)

In the next issue, I deliver How to Create Bullets from Your Products or Services The Real Example #2, part 19!

Sincerely,
Kentaro Sono

In the book Open. La mia storia by Andre Agassi, in the chaper 1, the author Andre Agassi writes:

Odio il tennis, lo odio con tutto il cuore, eppure continuo a giocare, continuo a palleggiare tutta la mattina, tutto il pomeriggio, perché non ho scelta. Per quanto voglia fermarmi, non ci riesco.

The Bonus Bullet #1:

The best tennis player in the world who hates tennis from the bottom of his heart!

In the book Il vaso di Pandoro, in the chapter La compensazione del privilegio, the author Selvaggia Lucarelli writes:

The Bonus Bullet #2:

The most despicable birthday party in the world!
