Dear Friend,
Do you remember what a “bullet” means in the copywriting world? Oh, you forgot again? I forgot too. No choice, let's review the definition together.
Bullet: A sentence in your sales letter which ignites readers' curiosity so badly that they drop what they are doing and start reading your sales letter immediately.”
Remember? Good. Let's move on to the today's topic.
How to Create Bullets from Your Products or Services
The Real Example #2
part 5
Compare the original texts and the bullets I created carefully and get “inspiration” to create your own bullets from your products or services. The material I use for this issue is:
Purr: The Science of Making your Cat Happy
by Zazie Todd
There are three reasons why I chose this book as the material.
Reason #1:
This is one of “solution-oriented” books. When you want to create books to sell, you have to choose this format too.
Reason #2:
Animal Welfare is a big market. If you want to create books to sell, you have to choose a big market too.
Reason #3:
I love cats.
And before I show you bullets... I want to emphasize just one thing.
The CEO of Kentaro Sono Inc. swears under oath that this newsletter is not one of the stupid stealth marketing, or written by the Artificial Intelligence such as ChatGPT!
GREYSTONE BOOKS don't pay me any money to write this issue. You got it? OK. Let's study the bullets together!
The Original Text #13:
Essentially, the more open your cat’s body position, the less stressed they are. A cat who is lying on their side or their back with their legs stretched out, their tail loose and out, and their belly on show is relaxed. Their eyes might be fully or partially closed, or doing a slow-blink at you if you’re lucky, and the ears and whiskers will be in a normal position. Signs that your cat wants you to stay away include a swishing tail, rippling skin, a flattened body (as if trying to be invisible), the limbs and tail tucked in close to the body, hissing, spitting, and caterwauling. If you see these signs, don’t approach your cat, because they may feel forced to defend themselves with tooth and/or claw.
The Bullet #13:
How to tell your cats open their hearts to you or not!
The Original Text #14:
Being afraid was associated with a low, flat posture, with hiding, and with retreating and moving back, often with a freeze (a moment of keeping still) beforehand. As well, they found that the direction of the cat’s head was associated with their emotions; a leftward gaze or turn of the head when the cat was fearful, and a gaze or turn to the right in a relaxed cat. Some of the cats in the study were frustrated, and signs included licking the nose, the tongue being visible, and hissing.
The Bullet #14:
What can you tell when cats show their tongues to you even if they are healthy?
The Original Text #15:
WHEN HARLEY FIRST came to live with us, we confined him to one room (our bedroom) for a few days while he settled in so that he wouldn’t feel overwhelmed. Although it didn’t take long before he was happily lounging on the bed, it soon became apparent that he was not a lap cat. I felt sad about this. But I realized that he was trying to be near me in his own way. When I went to sit on the settee, he would come around the edge of the room and settle underneath the settee, just below where I was sitting. Although it was not at first obvious to me that he was there, I thought this was his way of being close to me and feeling safe at the same time. To test out this theory, I moved to the other end of the settee. Sure enough, he moved too so that once again he was just underneath where I was sitting. And if I moved to the chair, he moved too, to be under the chair. He was the opposite of a lap cat: an under-chair cat. Of course, as he settled in more, he no longer felt a need to hide and became an occasional lap cat.
The Bullet #15:
The reason why you shouldn't expect all cats to become lap cats!
(All cats have their own ways to say “I love you”.)
In the next issue, I deliver How to Create Bullets from Your Products or Services The Real Example #2, part 6!

In the book 滚雪球:巴菲特和他的财富人生, in the chapter 33 解体, the author Alice Schroeder writes:

The drink the best investor in the world loves! (He drink four or five bottles of it a day. And it's not wine.)

In the book 管理(原书修订版)下, in 第28章 有效决策的构成要素, the author Peter Ferdinand Drucker writes:
