Dear Friend,

Continued from the previous issue, How to “rejuvenate” your old products, services, or articles with minimum time! Part 4!

KSL2024-271. How to minimize customer harassment AND enhance customer loyalty of your clients, AND raise the price of your products or services…at the same time!

One of the best dentists in Ky... no, I mean Western Japan is suffering from not limiting clients. The dentist is already famous. Actually, too famous. They have too many clients and reservations to handle and don't have time to rest. All staffs are exhausted. The employee turnover rate is so high that they are always looking for new staffs. (Dental service is sensitive. It needs intelligence. Finding proper staffs is hard, and retraining staffs is very costly.) Because of the chaos, the service quality deteriorates day by day. (Recently, even some of the best clients stated to complain)The most frightening example is...

If you enter the restroom of the dentist, you can't close the door properly!

Once you've established your reputation in your industry, you have to change the marketing policy. For example, you can be Members-only dentist. Like this:

✔If you are one of the dentists suffering from too much clients and reservations and no-show, never miss this issue!

KSL2024-272. If you limit new customers by what they can, you can create strong sense of belonging in your customers' community!

Do you know Seikatsu-Club(生活クラブ) in Japan?

When it comes to the food delivery service in Japan, it's the best in my opinion. In Seikatsu-Club, you can order the Sengyo Box(鮮魚BOX), or "Fresh Fishes Box". If you order the Sengyo Box, you can't choose what kind of seafoods to eat. Seikatsu-Club choose the best seafoods in the season for you. It's Omakase.

Did you notice Seikatsu-Club implicitly limit customers by this Omakase element?

✔Those who successfully limit customers don’t judge people only by money. If you want to know how to create strong sense of belonging in your customers' community, read this issue!

KSL2024-273. It’s important what you can offer to your customers. But it’s also important what you can’t offer to your customers!

In principle, you need a referral from my existing clients to get a reservation ticket for consultation here.

If you don't have the referrals, you have to buy the reservation ticket to join in my waiting list. Sorry, you can't get a immediate consultation. You have to wait until your turn comes. And even if you buy the reservation ticket, it doesn't mean your consultation with me is guaranteed. You have to do some homework. If you don’t do the homework, you lose the ticket.

You can't wait? You don't want to do any homework? Well then, McKinsey & Company, Accenture, or Boston Consulting Group are waiting for you.

✔If you want to know how to take advantage of your weaknesses to earn trust from your prospects or customers, read this issue!

KSL2024-274. The contrast between your great strength and forgivable weakness makes you attractive!

Hercule Poirot has the great reasoning skill and deep psychological insights. These characteristics work as the minimum requirements of the hero. And he has some insignificant weaknesses too.

He is short, and has the strange egg-shaped head, and ridiculous sense of fashion and stupid moustache. He is not like one of fashion models, and he is not popular among women in romantic ways. In other words, he has insignificant weaknesses.

Why do I call his weaknesses "insignificant"?

Because not being popular among women in romantic ways, has nothing to do with the fact he is the greatest detective in the world.

But beware, the weakness of Hercule Poirot should not be the ability to think logically. Because if he can't think logically, he lose the status as the hero (the greatest detective in the world). For example, the cook with a stupid sense of music is acceptable. But the cook without a sense of hygiene is not. Lack of a sense of hygiene is the unforgivable weakness as the cook.

✔If you are suffering from not being perfect, and don’t know how to monetize your weaknesses, read this issue!

KSL2024-275. Prepare money back guarantees to run away from monster customers!

As a general rule, you should offer money back guarantees for all your products and services. There are 3 reasons.

Reason 1: Money back guarantees increase the sales of your products and services. Of course implementing money back guarantee takes time and money. But see the cost from another angle, advertising.

In a way, money back guarantees work as the excellent advertising.

Without money back guarantees, you have to spend extra advertising cost to get the same level of sales. It’s waste of money.

✔If your employee are suffering from extreme customer harassment and the turnover rate is too high, read this issue!

That is all for today. The next issue is How to “rejuvenate” your old products, services, or articles with minimum time! Part 5!

Sincerely,
Kentaro Sono

In Forbes, in the article Father Horrified By An AI Chatbot That Mimicked His Murdered Daughter, the author Rashi Shrivastava writes:

Drew Crecente’s daughter was brutally murdered 18 years ago. Someone made a chatbot on unicorn startup Character AI’s platform using her name and yearbook photo.

Drew Crecente last spoke to his daughter Jennifer Ann Crecente on February 14, 2006. A day later, Jennifer, a senior in high school who was in an abusive relationship, was murdered by her ex-boyfriend, who was later convicted and is serving time in prison. That year, Crescente started a nonprofit in her name to prevent teen dating violence and now routinely monitors any piece of media coverage related to her.

But he was appalled when he received a Google Alert notification at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday that somebody had created a chatbot on popular AI platform Character AI using his daughter’s yearbook photo and name.

There are hopelessly disgusting "people" in this world.

In Forbes, in the article Inside The Superyachts Of America’s Richest People, the author Giacomo Tognini and Stephen Pastis writes:

Sometimes owning a superyacht can be a liability, or worse—deadly—as the August tragedy involving onetime billionaire Michael Lynch’s yacht Bayesian illustrates. Lynch and six others perished when the yacht sank off the coast of Italy. That same month, Laurene Powell Jobs’ 256-foot, $81 million yacht Venus collided with Lady Moura, a yacht owned by Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego. Fortunately, no one was hurt. In early 2020, hedge fund billionaire Daniel Loeb's 197-foot, $45 million yacht Samadhi damaged a coral reef in Belize, spurring an apology from Loeb, who committed to working with a local conservation group to restore the reef.

Read as many articles as possible about superyachts. You can get useful insights about the lives of the super rich. Robb Report, Here’s How to Keep Your Crew From Being Pirated by Another Yacht by Lucy Alexander is one of the best articles ever written about superyachts.
