Dear Friend,

In the book Leftover Women, in Introduction, the author Leta Hong Fincher writes:

In China, the derogatory term “leftover” woman or shengnü is widely used to describe an urban, professional female in her late twenties or older who is still single. Many urban Chinese women, like Li, express anxiety about becoming a “leftover” woman if they are not married by their late twenties. And many marry quickly – often within several months of meeting a man – specifically to avoid being designated “leftover.” The intense pressure to marry comes from parents, relatives, friends and colleagues. But this pressure is magnified multiple times by the Chinese state media and government-sponsored matchmaking events.

Japan and China share the same stupidity.

The concept “leftover” exists in Japan too. It's called "売れ残り" in Japanese.
Oh, you don't know how to pronounce the word? You can't read any Kanji? It's "urenokori". Hey guys, repeat after me, "urenokori"!

Listen: Stupid ordinary people, love derogatory words. Because it's the only way to feel superior to other people. If you can't improve yourself, you have to degrade others to feel superior to other people. It's perfectly logical. It's as if they knew how to use their brains!

If you want to attract intelligent people, intelligent customers, intelligent clients… avoid using derogatory words. Spend your time and energy just to improve yourself. Because the same kind of people attract each other.

Don't imitate those who you despise.

Today's Pearl of Wisdom #1:

If you want to make friends with intelligent people, avoid using derogatory words!

Sincerely,
Kentaro Sono

In EL PAÍS, in the article Cultura de ‘gangbang’, the author Najat El Hachmi writes:

For a long time, we have been indifferent to how products and services are provided. Who cares about the fear and pain of slaughtered animals, raped children or women? As long as the products and services please us, there is no problem. No? After all, we pay the prices!

The situation is changing.

More and more intelligent people are concerned about how the products and services are provided. They don't want to go to the dinner parties wearing the ruby mined by illegal child labor.

If you can be proud of how your products and services are provided, it's your edge. Just tell the story in your ads.

I am not a big supporter of women's rights. If they have women-only passenger cars, they should have men-only passenger cars too. If they have Lady's Day Discounts, they should have Men's Day Discounts too. If women can have Parental leaves, men should be able to have Parental leaves too.

But I hate those who use violence to control others.

Listen: Anger, hatred and humiliation engraved by violence never leave you. They keep burning your brains and crippling your body forever. The perpetrators never knows.

Sometimes, stupid people who have never been victims of violence trivialize Rapes and Domestic Violence.

It's just a SEX. It's just a discipline. What's all the fuss about?

Pathetic. Talking casually about what they don't know about is the proof of stupidity.

Today's Pearl of Wisdom #3:

Don't try to talk about what you don't know anything about it!
